Welcome to Day 5 of the 7 Types of Rest.
Today we’re exploring a kind of rest that often gets misunderstood: Creative Rest.
This isn’t just for artists or “creative types.”
It’s for anyone who’s been stuck in doing-mode - problem-solving, pushing, and powering through life on autopilot.
Because here’s the thing:
You weren’t made to just produce.
You were made to feel, to wonder, to light up at things that move you - even if only for a moment.
Creative rest is about reawakening the spark inside you -
Not with effort, but with space.
Not with force, but with curiosity.
When that spark gets even a flicker of attention, your energy shifts.
You feel more alive - more you.
Let’s invite that spark back now.

Today’s practice is called the Mini Beauty Hunt - a short, simple way to reconnect with beauty and wonder in the everyday.
You don’t need a museum or a masterpiece.
Just a moment, and your eyes.
Press play and let’s go exploring.

Gentle Reflection
After the video, take a few minutes to notice:
What did you find beautiful today - and why?
When was the last time you felt inspired just by noticing?
Where could you make more space for beauty or awe in your daily life?

Coming Up Tomorrow: Social Rest
This one tends to surprise people…
It’s not just about being alone - it’s about who you feel safe to be yourself with.
(And who you don’t.)
Because inspiration doesn’t need to be earned.
It just needs to be welcomed back in.
